Q2. How can I download Manuals & Software?

Q3. What is LG Software Updater Application?
This application allows you to conveniently download the user’s manual and application software for the LG handset you use, and update phone software by connecting your handset to the PC directly.

Q4. How can I upgrade phone software?
You can upgrade the LG handset firmware if you use LG Software Updater Application. You can find the detailed instruction about phone software upgrade in the “ Products > Manual&Software” menu. Go to Manual&Software (shortcut link)

Q5. If I upgrade phone software will all stored information (phone number, pictures, paid contents, and other) will be lost?
Upgrading your phone software will not remove the information saved in the handset. However, it is recommended to save the important phone number, picture, or data in your PC using PC Sync.

Q6. Can an old model phones software be upgraded?
Version upgrades on the web is not supported for the previous models, since the specification or the phone structure is different. It is supported for the models that have been recently announced.

Q7. What will have changed once I have upgraded the phones software?
If you upgrade your phones software new services, such as roaming, are added. In addition existing product functions and programmes supporting the mobile communication system are modified.

Q8. The phone software upgrade stopped before completion. What should I do?
Phone software upgrading can be stopped temporarily due to the server status. If this happens, disconnect the cable and try to upgrade phone software again a short while later.If upgrade still cannot complete, please contact LG Service Center to check the product.

Q9. “Page cannot be found!” message appears during phone software upgrade. What should I do?
The “Unable to find the page” message can sometimes appear during phone software upgrade. This depends on the server status. If you use Internet Explorer, delete cookies and files in the Tools > Internet Options menu.If the problem persists, please contact Service Center.

Q10. What is an IMEI number?
The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number is the unique number that identifies authenticity of your handset. You can check this number when you remove the battery from the handset. When you become a member LGMobile check authenticity of the LG handset using this IMEI number.
